.....and it was once London's 2nd Airport....just need to wind the
26 Threshold back onto the Common, hey presto probably at least 2200m available! (although the current 1300m would be enough for an LCY type operation).
.....other thought was that it might be Wisley (slap bang between LHR and LGW), where the OCK VOR is - think the runways are still
largely intact?
....or Dunsfold!...bit close to LGW though??
