During the Tsunami relief a 737 hit a water buffalo during landing and it tore the undercarriage out of one side of the aircraft.
Later I saw the engine that hit the ground (in the operators warehouse in Jakarta) and the sudden stop had twisted the whole engine case to the point that the engine had started to split.
Water buffalo ... not good.
