I remember some time ago one of our A/C was landing in Dhaka (Bangladesh)
which like some of theses Asian airports has many dogs in the airport perimeter.
EK has a forward facing camera which passengers can watch the landing.
As the A/C landed a dog was seen hitting the nose gear. Obviously the dog came off second. After landing the purser called the flight deck after comments from the passengers. Her question was "how is the dog?"
Uumm, well he has a bad limp now???
