Rolls-Royce to power Gulf Air in $1.5 billion order
LONDON, June 15 (Reuters) - Britain's Rolls-Royce (
RR.L) said on Monday it had secured a $1.5 billion engine order to power 20 aircraft from Bahrain-based Gulf Air.
The contract, announced at the Paris Air Show, include Rolls-Royce's Trent 700EP engines to power 20 Airbus (
EAD.PA) A330 aircraft, a TotalCare long-term service agreement, and an extension to an existing engine support services deal.
The company also reported a 5-year extension to its TotalCare long-term contract with German carrier Condor Airlines worth around $150 million.
