Manx2 At Bfs
Manx2 have been a bit of a dark horse since they started operations at BFS. I think most people gave them 6 months and here we are nearly 3 years later, still going strong.
I think the secret is that they keep their operating costs very low. They don't own any of the a/c in their fleet which belong and are operated by small european carriers in Manx2 colours on their behalf. It's almost like a franchise agreement.
All a/c are 19 seaters which avoids the need for cabin crew - due to aviation regulations, which cuts costs even further.
They seem to have found a winning formula, just not in such a grand scale as the likes of Easyjet or Ryanair.
