This is so like the situation with that Singapore-Perth A330 QF flight and the auto-pilot malfunction leading to steep uncontrolled climb then steep descent. Subsequent emergency landing revealed stresses. Computer systems failure seems to be to blame. You have to wonder if this is a similar, mysterious occurence.
