Can anyone tell me what would have happened in the same location had the genders been reversed, ie, had Mrs 'X' gone to the police and tried to lead them to a hotel room where her separated husband was holed up with a hooker/girlfriend?

The wife that reported the guy would be sent to jail for ruining a perfectly good marriage that she was in. The guy being reported would not have to pay for services rendered......
