We need to change our working practices and do all that we can to ensure our company survives.

Have a look at the figures from the CAA website. It shows that the cost of employing Cabin Crew at BA is twice the cost of employing Cabin Crew at Virgin. (2006 for example: £27900 average cost at BA, £13300 at Virgin)

Some of our CC colleagues are VERY well remunerated, perhaps to the detriment of the rest of us.

"BA LHR cabin crew salaries will not be the death of the airline", but we sure as hell are assisting in the death of the airline.

We need to change, or we face a future with no salary, no staff travel, and no pension............and no Crate and Barrel !!!
