i too would be surprised if the Irish Government would be two happy with aircraft painted red white and blu doing internal irish flights!!!
Oh please, I think we are all past that nonsense.
With the Irish economy in its current subdued state and with national infrastructural improvements reducing road journey times, I can only see the requirements for domestic flights decline and indeed something the size of the jetstream or saab340 may be best fit to the lower traffic densities. Who knows which regional operators on these islands will be left in two years time anyway?
