Crashed Beaufighter
Hi,
I recently completed "Chasing Shadows", a WWII biography of living Australian air ace, Sqn Ldr Bob Cowper DFC + Bar, French Legion of Honour.
Bob crashed a beaufighter in the Sahara whilst enroute to Malta in 1943. In the book we have shown crashed desert aircraft but were unable to locate a Beaufighter, settling instead for a crashed Wellington.
The book is printed on demand and a suitable substitute photograph could be inserted at the next printing.
Would you consider allowing me to use your photograph for illustrative purposes?
