I've landed here before - great place, but the helipad is the front lawn which is quite tight and surrounded by trees - so be careful!! A better alternative is the Seiont Manor hotel which is an old favourite near the menai straits.
Finally, I would avoid Caernarfon like the plague - £30 landing fee for an R44, even if it's just to uplift fuel - RIP OFF! Llanbedr will be open for business soon, but use Welshpool in the meantime - no landing fees at all and very friendly.
