Around a year ago ,a trusted colleague who had been in Ryanair for 10yrs at that point, told me that having done all the Maths (and given that inflation in real terms is always worse than governments puny utterances, it is probably if anything an underestimate ) his take home pay in real terms had fallen by 40%.
He is not one given to exaggeration, and this figure of course fails to take into account the various amounts lost in the last 12 months. Lets say 50% less in 11 years probably?
