From: Where the company needs me not where I want to be!
To quote an episode of family guy "IF YOU DONT LIKE IT GO ON THE INTERNET AND COMPLAIN ABOUT IT"

LOL,, the producers must have been on pprune recently when they came up with that gag

thanks to the guy dedicating his post to me, to reply to it I had actuly signed up to the Balpa membership form the day before and was waiting to hear back from them,,, in the whats your salary field on the form I put zero as per my salary.

first email i got back from them other than the automated one was, thanks for signing up, please tell me your salary or expected flying hours so we can work out what your membership fees are!

no here is what we can do or here is what were planning to do and require all you poor FR pilots to get behind us with this plan,,,, it was a straight what can we charge you email

i may still be looking at it the wrong way but all i see is a company with its hand out again looking for as much as they can from me,,, IT SHOULD BE A FLAT FEE FOR ALL! say £200 a year or so,,, or maybe £200 for F/O's and £300 for Captains, not a %,, they will do no extra work for me the month I fly 100hours compaired to the crappy month I do 25hours,,, so why should they get 4X the money for the same thing that month???

I am still well on the fence about BALPA , maybe the thing I am going to say is until I research more about them and hear more I am not signing $$$ away to them

was only in the flight deck two days ago talking with a captain about it and he said, "aww there F'ing useless,, worked for a few airlines that they represented and were a total waste of time!" more food for thought.

still fairly new to the game really, only been flying for FR 2 years and got loads to learn, its too easy to throw money at every scheme offered to me, and it just seems that BALPA is another one of those schemes at the moment.

p.s. yea i do like commas,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,
