Good Work!

Great news!... lets hope lessons are learnt by all- and I'm *glad* crew were smart and read the doc for what it was.

Beware though some dirty tactics could be coming our way. Stay focused, stand united.

Also, after google-ing VBA eba, I came across this article in the SMH online paper from march '07, when we turned down our last eba.....
Virgin Blue spokeswoman Heather Jeffery said the airline did "understand that it proposes a lot of change to systems and processes and everyone needs to be fully conversant and comfortable with those changes".
The airline would continue talks with cabin crew.
Compared with Qantas domestic cabin crew, Virgin Blue cabin crew are required to work 15 per cent more hours and, going by the highest pay scale, get around 20 per cent less in base pay. They get paid less and work slightly more hours than Jetstar crews.
And thats from 2007! Imagine what that would read if written for today, if we voted this eba in- 25% more hours- 30% less pay...????
