Sadly in the current economic climate, its a bad time to try and sell anything let alone an airport!
I really do hope that somebody comes along with some serious business acumen who can inject a fresh future into airfield.
I think after seeing some of the figures spent on the airport in previous postings, it would make a fabulous bizjet terminal. Harrods pulled off a splendid job operating out of sumptuous portacabins based at Luton. There must be similar business models that could be created for Coventry, surely they have some useful buildings for renovation or refit for that particular market.
However all of this is immaterial if there is nobody out there bold enough to risk future investment and would Birmingham airport really welcome a phoenix from the embers?
