I got my first radar vector out of Lagos the other day. But, even bigger than that.... "HOLD SHORT" of a runway, just like the rest of the world.
I'm told that the US FAA has been here in the past weeks doing an evaluation of the airport, ATC, and airline(s) requesting direct service to the US. Hopefully, something positive will come out of that.
I'm going golfing.
