Boy your national carrier does seem to have it in for the North West of England. It is always sad when people lose their livelyhood. We must also remember that we all live in a capitalist system and as a result our employers will seek to maximize profit at, practically, any cost. They, the lay-off victims, are as the American military and Timothy MacVie would say
"Collateral Damage".. Sad but true.
