Why On earth would a Business man fly into Coventry when he wants to do business in Birmingham. These people fly Privately to save time not Spend time in taxis Travelling down the A45/M6 To Birmingham. At the end of the day if they can afford to fly privately they can afford a few £??? On handling. A Business man especially from Europe/Uk or further a field wants to fly to the nearest airport to where he is going if thats Coventry then he will fly into Coventry Why on earth would someone going to watch Villa Fly into any where other than BHX.
Yes Coventry Might do well out of Flying/Aero Club Aircraft and Might Attract people who want to base there Biz jet there but look at Oxford Another New hangar Built and Look At Coventry those Hangers Over the Old terminal side have been there 35+ Years They Need £££ Spent on them. Where would any investment come from to build a new hangar.
