Repainting the AC in a 1960 design was a real winner with everyone, for example GV to be painted $140K DA2000 $90K
10 AC painted to new scheme has to be in the region of 1 Million, what a waste in critical times.
AFAIK, there was no repainting as such, new aircrafts been delivered with the new livery, and the 'old' ones will be repainted at Major inspection ( when a lot of stuff has to be removed and inspected ie C Check) No comment about the design
