Also owned Skywest at one stage in the 1980's.

Wanted to buy B737-200 QC, but Mr Abeles the PM at that stage disallowed that silly idea.

Used to run flight Sydney-Hobart in the F27's in the 1970's bypassing the cosy two airline duopoly.
