Yes, not being HF equipped, I entered the cone of silence (and boy was it quiet!) about 100 nm from Isa and re-emerged prior to descent into Tindal.
I was at 10k - pushing a 15 - 20 kt headwind.
And after today, if I hear one more person ask for a ride report and a request to change level, I'm going to strangle someone,
. It was a challenge to squeeze in a radio call in amongst all that (due high and low sectors being combined).
