Yes, Jed did go down in Darwin, so that must have been the only Oz registered 58T.
I don't think Wally flew the Frelon, being ex-US Marine & an ex-Sikorski test pilot, I doubt if he flew a "foreign" machine! Alain & Frank Hillier certainly flew the Frelon, don't remember the others.
