Alassio Stay There
Can't remember the name of the hotel, but I can highly recommend the little seaside town of Alassio, about 20 mins from Albenga. Very picturesque, a few lively bars, good shops. (Limage-Vintage Poster Shop is my favourite).
The beach is great, very italian, lots to see!
You will have a great time. My mates came down for the Monaco GP one year and they preferred Alassio to Monaco and Nice, what can I say!
