There is a 707 parked at longterm by Sharjah that recently got a total overhaul and new country reg., allocated to Guinea-Bissau.
Its J5-CGU. ex-9G-JET, and as far as i know its parked cause no pilots and staff are available...there is another similar case by Tchad (Mid Express Tchad [TT-DAX]) and maybe the guys at Mali Gov. ( TZ-TAC) could also recruit for next times...sometimes in DRC they can amange also to put some flying until they fall down, like 9Q-CLK or CKK...
There is also some rumours few days ago an all white 707 was painted into Kyrgyz reg. EX-102, still awaiting staff and papers...However check carefully this link, updated by some 707CRAZYFREAKS as me...
