Karunch, from what we hear, most of the capts going are very experienced. Just some wanting to get home etc... From what I have heard from a few trainers there, the few guys going across from jet* oz upgrading, are all experienced captains from other types (boeings,fokkers etc) who have been stuffed around from the deals that happen behind closed doors /recent moves etc, and are looking at getting back to the leftseat. Some are even from enzed, so I wouldnt worry about that to much.
To call these guys scabs is simply stupid, and shows the lack of understanding of the situation. I believe the companies group of unions, aipa,afap and the jpa have all done nothing to change the conditions, and are even giving advise to the guys/members going across.
