NZALPA has given notice that it is taking Qantas and JC to court to attempt to stop the closure of the CHC base. These are not petty arguements, JC may have violated the terms of the CEA it has with its pilots, and the ERA (Law).
Any pilot thinking of taking a job with Jetstar NZ before this is sorted out (I'm sure Jetstar NZ would love to hear from you) is adding another cut to the throats of the JC CHC pilots.
I'd call them scabs if they joined now. If you know of anyone grabbing this 'great opportunity' to fly in NZ, please let them know of this court case so they can have a better idea of what is going on.
