Murdoch, we all do ok going into Funchal, or Innsbruck to name just a couple. Look at the tricky local weather conditions they get there!!!!! The contract requirement was not for new FO's so that they have got good experience.
I am not taking anything away from flying into these places, sure they are tricky and have their own little traps but please don't assume that we don't have our own very tricky little places to fly into around Europe!
