EL AL
Everything seemed to go very well this morning. Check-in was spread over several hours so queue times were quite short. Passengers queued to enter the segregated check-in desks 1-5, normally occupied by Ryanair. Before they could check-in their details were checked first by 5 people standing behind 5 portable desks that had been wheeled into poison side on to desk 5. Two armed policemen stood guard close to the queue.
There were several ELAL officials having their photos taken and all in all seemed to be quite happy with what was taking place.
The 767 landed at 10.48 and had a follow me vehicle escort the aircraft to the north apron parking opposite the former flying club.
