Hmmm, clapping and cheering.
The last time I experienced this from the pax was the last landing I did in Russia a few months ago.
Not from my landing you understand (the First Officer did the deed, nice one too) however prior to departure, some of the pax had created such a ruckus in the terminal (long story) so they had all been confined in the lockup for 24 hours, then told to behave themselves...or else.
These folks were so glad to be home, they were all smiles, hugging and smooching the CC (even the boys
) and in the end, when the last one deplaned he handed me an envelope stuffed with cash.
Nice folks these.
