If you goto the CAA website as listed... look under 'Advisory Circulars'... the one you want is AC61-3 "Pilot licences and ratings – Private pilot licence".

It has the PPL syllabus in there... and is the reference for the Knowledge Deficiency Reports (KDR's) that you get on your exam results.

I'm not sure what the 'PPL Confuser' is... but if you're after 'study guides' for the exams, try Pilot Books...

And if you goto the ASL website, look under the 'exams' menu, you can find links to study references, the syllabi and can order example exams.

Please note that ASL are planning to have NZ completely migrated to computer based exams as of the end of June this year... the format of the questions seems to be the same, just a slightly different presentation... so I'm not sure if the example exams are still relevant?
