Inkjet didn`t say that they had turned a £100M loss round he just said they were better than budgeted which is a different thing, as you can still budget for a loss but keep it under control.
Why should LH sell what they have just bought as noway will they get what they paid for BMI, but it could and should contribute to the Lufthansa brand feeding into
LH and Star Alliance. Baby if they decide to keep it could be a large money earner
if LH perhaps rebrand or relaunch pushing the LH connection which has a very good name over here.
