Another Vietnam chopper book in the same vein as Chickenhawk, but a little more contained, is "To the Limit' by Tom A. Johmson.
It's a first-person tale of a Huey driver in 1st Cav during 1967 - 68.
As good as C-H, but different; worth a look.
