The howl of the Temora Aviation Museum's Meteor F.8 as it makes a high speed pass! Lovely!
In the 1970s, as VZ467 'Sir Winston', that jet was working for its living at RAF Brawdy in the target towing role. Often glown by one Flt Lt Douglas Arthur George Catt - known to one and all as 'Puddy'. After dropping the flag, he would disappear off downwind, only to re-appear a few minutes later in a cloud of condensation and a howl of blue note!
It's great that both 'Sir Winston' and Puddy are still around - if only they could be reunited!
