Unfortunately that is likely to be the reaction. There is such pressure for departure on time that the cabin crew don't have time, the pilots preflight are very pressured. I would hope a chat afterwards would be offered, but so often coaches are waiting and there is no time any more. I really wish flight deck passes could still be granted, especially to ATC- it is good for you people to see what goes on on the other side like we should see the ATC side. I think it is time for ATC and BALPA to start pressuring to allow this. I would be only too happy to have you guys along. I will be flying out of BOH and will see if we can get back to sanity.
