Ryanair would base more airframes at Luton, but only if the airport paid for them!
I agree entirely... Ryanair, wants something for nothing, even though the airport maybe seeing a downturn at the moment, I doubt the airport is desperate enough to be giving them these kind of concessions.
Even if no Ryanair didn't base any new aircraft at the airport, it would be nice to see aircraft from other bases operating to the airport. Hyperthetically, a Stockholm Stavsta service operated by an aircraft from this base.
I think it is simply a case, LTN are not willing to give Ryanair the concessions it once did get and has to pay to use the airport at the same prices other airlines have to. While some airports in Europe continue to offer the airline these sort of fantastic deals, this is where new aircraft will continue to be based.
I predict, FR capacity is likely to remain very much the same at the airport for the forseeable future.
