Just had dinner and baijiu with some local airline execs here in Beijing. HNA exec was going on and on about the excellent work that the HKA management is doing in HK; about making tough decisions and leading by example in terms of pay cuts. And how leading airlines are doing the same now...
I kept very quiet through out knowing how strongly how some of you guys felt but that is how it is. Top management's priority is different and will be most of the time. It coincides only when it is convenient for the management to do so. Middle management (i.e. HKA management) is only a tool and the rest of the staff too.
Regardless of the sentiments of the poster above, the current management at HKA is staying put as far as HNA is concerned.
