Lossie has two beaches - west and east. West lies off the end of the main runway t'other side of the glof course where can be heard the traditional noise of " swish...f**K"
East beach suffers from erosion on the sand dunes and (when I was there) did actually perform as a surf spot. Water was warm (relatively), clean and very uncrowded.
If I could get a civvy job lossie way I'd take the wife and move back without question. I really liked the place, if I had the wife when I was there it would have been perfect.
There is soooo much to do outside of drinking and drinking, have fun.
