That is not totally correct. The medical tests are done after an offer has been made and accepted. You need to get a Class 3 Medical Certificate. Which involves:
Aviation Doctor
- Blood and Urine check
- ECG
- Lots of questions
- Height and weight
Opthamologist
- Colour blindness and Glaucoma check and vision
Audiologist
- Check hearing for damage
