Twinjet has taken the 'reluctant' decision to move its Airbus Corporate Jet from Luton airport after aircraft parking charges increased by over 200% late last year.

Now based at Birmingham, the ACJ is regularly used by heads of state and overseas royal families. Twinjet reports that Birmingham's parking charges are less than a quarter of Luton's and the move enables the company to keep operations efficient at times when the aircraft is not in the air or overseas.
Whose parking charges have increased by 200%? Twinjet used to park on a Harrods stand but their new apron doesn’t seem to be as flexible as the south stands. Roman Abramovich’s 767 also seems to have gone to pastures new since Harrods moved to the former cargo apron

Twinjet occupies 2 office blocks behind the TUI sports and social club and is physically going nowhere, just their 319, which doesn’t spend that much time at LTN anywhere.

Just means that they will have to fly the aircraft in empty when required.
