"The loss of OJ's contract had more to do with them not getting the -300" Have to disagree with your there, down3gr33ns.....the loss of the contract can only be summed up as small town (island) politics. I sense that a clash of personalities came into play which dulled business acumen. The fact of not getting the -300 became the NLK governments legitimate reason for ditching Ozjet. The loads rarely (and I really do mean rarely) filled a 737-200. together with all the allocated freight. Unfortunately, I would be called for sour grapes if I typed more......so I will leave that to later (when I get flamed
). What I will say, whilst the NLK people are some of the nicest people around, I believe that some of their elected officials punch far, far, far, beyond their weight category. Revisit in 12 months time, sincerely hope my thoughts are wrong, and if so I will eat the proverbial humble crow.
