I must have misunderstood you. So the guy had an FAA A320 type rating with an FAA Commercial? Because with 400h you can't get an FAA ATP. Or he had everything in JAA and the A320 type was FAA?
I have some 3k+ hours, an FAA ATP, an FAA A320 type, and about 400h in type and close to 2k in jet. (Still somewhat inexperienced in US terms.) Would they look at me considering all this is US stuff? Like I have said I will not go back home as much as I would love to. But it would be interesting to know just in case.
