I got offered a job with Easyjet, but they wanted me to pay for TRSS.
I said I could not afford to pay 25k bond plus no guarantee of a base plus 90 per cent salary plus no PAY during training. Thanks though !
So, Off I went and got a job with TCX , with none of that crap, just a wee bond. Low and behold, EasyJet came back to me and said.... hey fella, lets forget that stuff about TRSS , and join us as an SFO on full pay !!!!!!
Don't get me wrong, I think Easy are a superb outfit, and still believe in their business model and flat management structure, but, too little to late.
I went to TCX , great job, great people, treated with (humble) respect and don't regret it.. (easyjet is still a fab company , by the way , I have lots of friends there)
It's hard low timers, but d'ya know what, yer not stupid, broke maybe, I know, I have been there but there are options. I started being Post man Pat flying special delivary to the IOM on Seneca's.... not so long ago either !! good luck,,, respect yourself and blue skies
