John Bayles was Assistant Flight Operations Supt ( A/FOS ).
In his first tour in TPNG John's pet dog , ( Theseus ) travelled on many Otter
flights with him and was known as F/O Theseus . He was also a paid up member of the TAA Social Club , Lae and wore his membership token on his collar.
