F1 has not always been expensive. I used to go every year to my local GP, on my Bicycle, chain it to the fence, Pay with my allowance and have a ball.
This was in the late seventies, early eighties. Scheckter, Prost, Arnoux, Tambay, Hunt,Petersen, Villenevue etc. .....
And then came along the money grabbing Ecclestone and all that changed.
Can no longer afford it, but still watch every race on the box.
There is no excuse for the absolute greed of these people. The sponsors have covered most of the cost anyway.
