Open Regedit and navigate to...

HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows NT\CurrentVersion\Winlogon\SpecialAccounts\UserList

Add the DWORD value ‘Administrator’ with a value of ‘1′

This should force XP to show Administrator in the user list.

...but I think that Keygrip is talking about something slightly different.
