I Fly, look at the facts properly and come up with solutions rather than complaints

You talk about HWY increasing cax, but forget this is a PSO route under contract limitations. This means you can't just increase the cax without going through Government re-tender process. You should be directing your comments to WAG and not the airport management.

Also ask realistically why the longhaul has gone.
Canada was Zoom who are no longer. The Globespan replacement didn't happen due to issues with their 757 fleet and their 767's are on more lucrative duties. Air Transat / Canadian Affair have LHR / BHX and EXT and as such do not need CWL. That only leaves 2 other players who both operate from LHR only and are not likely to go anywhere else this year.

Orlando was impacted by XLA going out of business and Thomas Cook, who chartered the MON last year deciding to keep their long haul flying on their own fleet which again are elsewhere on more lucrative duties.

Then the other long hauls are all down to TUI and First Choice merging and by all accounts have an extremely good incentive to keep their BRS longhaul in place instead of CWL.

VS and BA have no desire to do MCO or the Caribbean from the South West and Wales as this is deemed too close to LONDON.

so now I ask for your suggestions. Who else should the airport have tried to do these routes?
