Secondly, if you were to want to go to China and fly after the middle east, you could just use the UAE license info to get a job over there, correct?
Not sure that this is correct! I have been told that the GCAA license is revoked when resigning and can not be used during your next interview! I wanted to let my previous license lapse and, if required, to have my GCAA license validated if I go back to my home country.
Any better info available?
