I have, indeed, done enough W&B calcs to have a bit of an idea what it is about. My point was desribing a carrier operating with a single class of service, and with preallocated seating, but who squished everybody together 6-abreast around the CofG in Ryanair style rather than do the calculations (which, come on, are not difficult, every aircraft manufacturer gives you a rapid calculator for the ops team to use) to spread the passengers, and baggage etc, nicely round the aircraft.
