I was in JFK a few weeks ago and our dispatcher informed us that the A380 only had 7000kgs more payload than our B777-300ER.
Is this true?
If so then that only equals about an extra 70 pax inc bags and makes me wonder what is the point of this aircaft apart from the old "my c@ck is bigger than yours" esp with an order of 50+ airframes.
