don't t know camber sands must be in the far south east, this side of hong kong ;bara is a wonderful experience,but there a fair bit of water and few hills to watch out for.the beach is cockle shell(safer than morecambe bay !!) and solid ; (often some standing water on the surface which can give a illusion of depth in certain conditions),some larger aircraft have been in there in it's history,loganair did try with a 360(shorts),try southport sands; that i think still has a licenced strip,barra now has a beacon and with gps and with tiree vor easy nav.surface wind can be odd at times, and wx very local,go dig up some cockles ,but not off the runways
